QA Receiving Inspector

About the Role

Are you detail-oriented and precise, with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance? The Quality Assurance team is looking for a motivated QA Receiving Inspector to inspect incoming components in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated environment.

What Will You Do?

As a QA Receiving Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting components in accordance with Nutra-Med’s SOPs, specifications, and/or customer requirements — confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and documenting results to keep incoming material moving smoothly and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and document components as per customer directions and Nutra-Med's SOPs
  • Inspect and approve incoming components by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests (if applicable), and quarantining unacceptable components
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into Nutra-Med's inventory system
  • Notify and inform all parties involved if a discrepancy/defect is identified
  • Maintain inspection areas in a clean and GMP-compliant condition.
  • Assume limited responsibility for other QA associates in their absence
  • Assist QA Supervisor/Manager/Director in various QA-related tasks
  • Perform other duties assigned by the QA Director

Qualifications & Requirements

High school or technical school education or equivalent required. 1–3 years of experience in quality control required, preferably in an FDA-regulated industry. Proficiency in mathematics and working knowledge of common inspection measurement and testing tools required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to review and comprehend written instructions to specifications and procedures. Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to self-start, plan, organize, document, and follow through on multi-task responsibilities.

  • Employees must have been in their current position for a minimum of 12 months to be eligible to apply
  • Must meet the qualifications listed for the desired position
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) sufficient to understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety instructions, and documentation requirements
